The 2014 Csaba Horváth Memorial Symposium Announcement and Call for Posters September 24th, 2014 -
On September 24th, 2014, the Connecticut Separation Science Council (CSSC), the Connecticut Mass Spectrometry Discussion group (CTMSDG) and the Hungarian Society for Separation Sciences will be hosting the Csaba Horváth Memorial Symposium. The symposium is planned to start at 8:30 a.m. and will run until approximately 7:30 p.m. It will be held at the Yale University West campus in Orange, CT. The symposium will include podium presentations and a Poster Session. Two $500 awards will be awarded for outstanding student posters.
Keynote Speaker:
The recipient of the 2014 Csaba Horváth Medal will be Dr. Joseph Jack Kirkland, Vice-president of R&D at Advanced Materials Technology, Inc. The presentation of this medal, which honors the contributions to the fields of separation science by our Society’s founder, is awarded to a recognized person in the separation science field whose work in the past has exemplified and will provide for the advancement of separation science in the future.
